Blog Announcement: Challenge Decks!

Michael: Hello! Hope your day is well, cause mine just got a lot more interesting!

Today I would like to announce Challenge Decks – a new thing on our blog!

WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

Let’s be real – sometimes, playing against a Zarbag’s Gitz for the 15th game in a row at a tournament can get a little stale. It gets even more annoying when it isn’t at a tournament, and SOMEONE keeps bring CtC/HG Cyreni to your local game nights! Don’t you ever wish that someone would play a different warband for once?

Well, with Challenge Decks, your wish can come true! Every week, Ben and I will post a new Challenge Deck (ideally on Mondays but lets be real it will always be on Tuesdays). We will feature previous week’s winners/decks, because it is important to highlight the community!

You: But Michael, you never actually told us what a challenge deck is!

Michael: Silly me. Well, basically it’s exactly what it sounds like. A deck with a certain twist. Remember Pacifist Skaven? Yeah, something like that! Some weeks we will do challenges where you have to play a specific, VERY weird deck. Some weeks, it will be a diabolical deck pairing with a weird warband (get ready for Edge/EotK Mollog!). Some weeks, it will be a more creative challenge, based on an article we are writing. Some weeks, I can’t decide what deck to bring to a tournament and want someone’s help but don’t want to talk to anyone so I just post the deck. Who knows where this can go!

SOUNDS FUN!

I know! Challenge decks are already up on our blog, you can check them out in the main menu – I gave them their own separate page.

One more thing – if you do attempt a challenge deck, I just made a seperate channel on our Discord server where you can chat about them. We also have small rewards for people who share there!

If you have any questions, please let me know! I’d love to clarify 🙂 With that, here is the very first Challenge Deck which sparked all of this. Good luck, and I hope to see you again soon!
